MP3 player and/or iPods is gadgets that every music lover must have. With an MP3 player near your side, you will always have a song to cheer you up at hand, literally! Even so before you go out shopping for one, here are some things you must keep in mind.
First, you need to select what is that you would like to purchase, a generic MP3 player or an iPod. Though both are MP3 players, iPod runs only with iTunes. The advantage of buying iPods, Even so, is that they support many more applications such as storing and seeing videos, movies and photographs etc.
Whether you select to buy an MP3 player or iPod, you must make sure that it has a right storage capacity. The better the storage the more songs you’ll be able to store. Mostly more storage area means a higher cost. If the memory space isn’t much, you must look to an iPod/MP3 player with an expandible memory.
If you select to buy an MP3 player, make sure it has a radio. A few MP3 players also have an else feature which allows you to record songs from the radio. If you have a good budget you must look for one which offers this other feature.
Make certain your MP3 player or iPod is compact, user friendly and has a good battery life. It’s also important to ensure that it is compatible with your laptop/computer.
Though MP3 players and iPods go with compatible earphone, in case you do not like the sound quality of the manufacturer’s earphone, you may consider investing in an extra set.
When you are shopping for an MP3 player, do have a look at some useful accessories alike travel kits, car chargers and headsets etc. The advantage of buying accessories along with your MP3 player is that you may get a discount on your purchase.
